You can rest assured the OKC RTAK-II knife will stand the test of durability. The RTAK-II features a 5160 steel construction full tang blade with lanyard hole in the butt. The blade is has a foliage green texture powder coated finish. The handles on the RTAK-II are made from canvas Micarta. This knife comes standard with MOLLE compatible black nylon sheath with edge protecting hard plastic insert and roomy utility pouch.

The Tan handle on the RTAK-II by Ontario Knife Company is made from MICARTA®. MICARTA® a Westinghouse trademark is a man made material. MICARTA® is made by layering resin and cloth and is used to make very fine knife handles
5160 Steel Blade
The Fixed Blade on the RTAK-II by Ontario Knife Company is made from 5160 Steel and features a Flat grind. 5160 Steel holds an edge well, and is extremely tough, popular in hard use knives. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 54-56, this Drop Point shaped blade is 10.5 inches long and is stamped with RTAK-II / OKC-USA.
